My son and I came across your site while looking at Saga. We are new to miniature gaming and I like to 15mm idea. We have limited space and this should work perfect. Can you email us some of the numbers on downsizing to 15mm. Also, my son and I are stuck on vikings. Can we both play the same faction?

Hi,
glad you like my blog! I’ve downsized all distances by one third, so VS = 3,3cm, S = 6,6cm, M = 10cm, L = 20cm. I made measuring sticks out of wooden dowels, so we don’t have to memorize the distances.
Of course you can both play Vikings, there are many historical precedents of Vikings fighting Vikings! You will need two of the Viking battle boards of course, but you can just photocopy the one included with the rulebook.
Figure wise there are very nice 15mm Vikings out there, we mostly use Khurasan. Peter Pig also make nice figures, however they tend to be a bit smaller.
